1988年夏季奥林匹克运动会
第二十四届夏季奥林匹克运动会于1988年9月17日至10月2日在韩国汉城（今首尔）举行。
汉城是在德国举行的国际奥委会第84次会议上，击败唯一的竞争对手日本名古屋后获得主办权的，而本届奥运会会歌为《手拉手》（Hand In Hand）韩国政府因举办奥运会的压力而实现民主化。
